What type of PR is this?

/kind bug

What this PR does / why we need it:

I'm write a linter to lint the func call about pass []any as any in variadic function, and found this one.
see github action result here

the bug code is here.

func buildDescription(optionalDescription ...interface{}) string {
	switch len(optionalDescription) {
	case 0:
		return ""
	default:
		return fmt.Sprintf(optionalDescription[0].(string), optionalDescription[1:]...)
	}
}

func (f *FlakeReport) RecordFlakeIfError(err error, optionalDescription ...interface{}) {
	if err == nil {
		return
	}
	msg := fmt.Sprintf("Unexpected error occurred: %v", err)
	desc := buildDescription(optionalDescription)
        ......
}

if someone call func like RecordFlakeIfError(err, "args is %v", arg),

it will actually call `buildDescription([]any{[]any{"arg is %v", arg}}),

and will be failed with optionalDescription[0].(string) assertion

Which issue(s) this PR fixes:

Fixes #

Special notes for your reviewer:

these two function was never called in this repo, or it will be bugfixed already.

maybe we can just delete them for useless.

Does this PR introduce a user-facing change?

bug fix in test/e2e/framework  Framework.RecordFlakeIfError

Hi @alingse. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

The Kubernetes project has merge-blocking tests that are currently too flaky to consistently pass.

This bot retests PRs for certain kubernetes repos according to the following rules:

  • The PR does have any do-not-merge/* labels
  • The PR does not have the needs-ok-to-test label
  • The PR is mergeable (does not have a needs-rebase label)
  • The PR is approved (has cncf-cla: yes, lgtm, approved labels)
  • The PR is failing tests required for merge
